Tourist Visa
- Original passport, signed and with at least six months remaining validity
- One copy of online visa application form
- One copy of online application payment (the page which shows up after submitting the application)
- One recent photograph (no laser copies), passport size
- Proof of funding and financial support
- Proof of travel: photocopy of round trip air ticket or travel itinerary and

- A letter of invitation from a host (with full address) accepting immigration responsibility while in Nigeria, and photocopies of the first five pages of sponsor's Nigerian passport. If visiting resident aliens, photocopy of sponsor's resident permit and first three pages of his passport.
- Prepaid return envelop
- International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever (Yellow Health Card)
Business Visa
In addition to requirements described above for the Tourist Visa:
- A letter of financial guarantee from company in the country where you are resident, which should also state the following: name and position of the applicant in the country, purpose of visit, business contact and duration of stay.
- Invitation letter from a Nigerian company or state organization.
- Copy of Company Registration (Certificate of Incorporation) of the Company you are visiting.
Temporary Work Permit (TWP)
In addition to requirements described above for the Tourist Visa:
- An approval from Nigeria for temporary work permit (original copy) Ministry of Internal Affairs.
- A letter of financial guarantee from company in the country where you are resident, which should also state the following: name and position of the applicant in the country, purpose of visit, business contact and duration of stay.
- Invitation letter from a Nigerian company or state organization.
- Copy of Company Registration (Certificate of Incorporation) of the Company you are visiting.
- Certified copies of all credentials and certificates x 2
- CV x 2
STR Visa (WORK PERMIT)
- Valid signed passport, with at least six months remaining validity.
- Two completed visa forms with two recent full face photographs, passports size.
- One copy of online application payment (the page which shows up after submitting the application)
Two certified copies of expatriate quota approval from Nigeria or approval from Nigeria for STR (Ministry of Internal Affairs).
Letter of employment x 2
Letter of acceptance x 2
Copy of Company Registration (Certificate of Incorporation) of the Company you are visiting.
Certified copies of all credentials and certificates x 2

Additional Information
- Urgency Fee: A AU$20 cash urgency fee is charged for visas which are required to be issued within 2 working days of receiving the application. This payment is to be paid separately to the visa
- Anywhere the date needs to be put in on the application, please put it in the
format of yyyy/mm/dd.
- Question 16: Please put in the amount without a dollar sign.
- Question 20 needs to be filled out
- The 'Print' button at the bottom of the application form does not work at this time. Please print the form using the browser feature for printing
- Once the application has been submitted, it will come up with an overview page.
Please take a print of this and include it with your application, then follow
the link to the online payment.
- The cost for an Australian passport holder is US$80.00. This fee changes
according to what type of passport you are traveling on and is non-refundable.
- For a New Zealand passport holder: If the fee comes up as US$ 1.00, please
include a bank cheque for an additional AU$50.00 with your application.
